Happy Karaoke Fun Time is a musically improvised show where improv and Karaoke come together to create a world in which scenes explode into popular songs you’ll recognize with lyrics you won’t, made up entirely on the spot!
Matthew Van Colton, Coach
Matthew is currently working on an idea that combines Whole Foods and Old Town School of Folk Music into one business: Old Foods School of Whole Music. It still needs work. He has performed improvisation & comedy at The Second City, Annoyance, ComedySportz, and iO Theatre and is also a member of Actor’s Equity, having performed with Chicago Dramatists, Northlight, Victory Gardens and TUTA theatres among many others. He has taught for Evanston Township High School, Acting Studio Chicago, and is a faculty member at Second City. Currently he can be seen at Second City in Infinite Sundaes, as well as performing cabaret around Chicago.
