Happy Karaoke Fun Time is a musically improvised show where improv and Karaoke come together to create a world in which scenes explode into popular songs you’ll recognize with lyrics you won’t, made up entirely on the spot!

Amber Linde
Amber is originally from the Twin Cities and moved to Chicago to pursue the arts. She is a graduate of Columbia College with an emphasis in theater and music. She has worked with theater companies such as The Silent Theater Company, JPAC Arts Center, Theater Momentum and Factory Theater. She is also an ensemble member of the R.ED. I foundation where she does theater regarding real life teen issues for young people all over the Illinois area and United States.Amber has studied at IO (formally Improv Olympic) and has done shows at many improv theaters such as IO, The Playground, Studio B and The Second City. Amber and her improv team Gulp produce their own showcase at Jerry’s Sandwiches in Wicker Park, it has been a great way to meet all the talent improvisers in the city and get her independent work on stage. To help pay bills Amber works as a DJ and entertainer on Navy Pier, she loves soul, motown and anything from the 90′s. She is ecstatic to be working with HKFT, blending music and improv is the best of both worlds. Thank you to Phillip and the rest of the ensemble-Cheers!
